SUPPORTING MENTAL HEALTH IN MUSIC
EVERY ORDER MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Music has always been at the heart of what we do: the bands, the culture, the community, and all the other stuff involved in creating music and putting on shows.
But the truth is that life in music can be tough. Behind every song, every gig, and every tour are real people — and too many are struggling. Too often, mental health in music gets overlooked.
That’s why, every time you shop with us, we donate 5% to Music Minds Matter to support mental health in the music community.
This isn’t a short-term campaign or a limited promotion; it’s how we do things.

MENTAL HEALTH IN MUSIC
Mental health challenges in the music industry are widespread. It’s estimated that one in three people working in music struggle with their mental health. That’s a huge number.
Working in music can be unpredictable, high-pressure, and isolating. Long hours and financial uncertainty take their toll too. From artists and crew to promoters, technicians, managers, and venue staff, the people who make the music happen often carry a heavy load.
As a brand rooted in heavy music culture, this is something we care deeply about. We've seen firsthand how challenging life in music can be, and lost good friends along the way.
As well as raising money through our twice-yearly TOCstock events, we've hard-wired support for mental health into everything we do — so every order contributes to helping those who need it most.
What Music Minds Matter does is incredibly important. The charity supports everyone working in music, not just musicians. Now, every time you shop with us, you’re helping support anyone in music who might need a hand.

WHAT MUSIC MINDS MATTER DOES
Music Minds Matter aims to make a positive difference to the mental health of everyone in music. The UK charity connects people in music to the information and support they need to take care of themselves and each other.
Its services include:
- 24/7 confidential helpline for anyone working in music who needs someone to talk to
- Professional advice and emotional support from trained specialists

Sometimes the most powerful thing someone can offer is simply to listen. That’s exactly what Music Minds Matter does.
Anyone working in music can call the UK helpline anytime on 0808 802 8008.
We've got to know the team at Music Minds Matter. They’re great people and we’re proud that they trust us to help spread the word and raise money for the vital work they’re doing.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Supporting mental health in music isn’t just about crisis support — it’s about keeping the music community strong: on stage, on tour, in the recording studio, behind the scenes, and everywhere in between.
By donating 5% from every sale, we aim to play a small but meaningful role in supporting the people who make the music happen.

ABOUT MUSIC MINDS MATTER
Music touches us like nothing else on earth. It lifts us, consoles us, breaks our hearts, then heals them, makes us laugh, love, cry, and feel things more intensely. That’s pretty special. But making it all happen is challenging.
Work in the music industry is often on a freelance basis with no HR support. Pay is unreliable. Conditions inconsistent. Hours long and unpredictable. Practically, psychologically, and emotionally, this takes its toll. Our availability and support make a significant difference. From studio assistants and artist managers to music therapists and lighting designers, every music person’s mental wellbeing matters. When they thrive, music thrives. That’s why it’s important. For all of us.
At Music Minds Matter we aim to make a positive difference to the mental health of everyone in music. We do this through connecting people in music to the information and support they need to take care of themselves and each other, building a shared understanding of mental health in music to enable people to get the right help early, and fostering thriving teams and work spaces which promote the mental wellbeing of their people. One in three people working in music struggle with their mental health. That is too many.
Music Minds Matter cannot deliver its life-changing work without your valuable support. Donate today to help us reach more people working in music who need our help.
