A NEW CHAPTER FOR ALTERNATIVE MUSIC IN BANBURY
We’re proud to officially announce TOC @ The Wheatsheaf — a new monthly live music collaboration between TEN OF CLUBS and The Wheatsheaf, Banbury’s long-standing home of alternative music.
Louder together, we’ve joined forces to deliver a relentless series of heavy, hardcore, and alternative live shows — bringing some of the best bands from across the UK to Banbury’s much-loved grassroots venue.
The first TOC @ The Wheatsheaf event lands on Saturday 11 April, and we’re coming in strong with nu metal heavy-hitters LOVELETTER leading the charge.
Expect soaring choruses and relentless energy from start to finish. This is the benchmark, the tone-setter, the first chapter in what will be Banbury’s essential monthly alternative night.
Entry is FREE. The sonic onslaught starts at 9pm. Don’t miss a second.
THE WHEATSHEAF — BANBURY'S HOME OF ALTERNATIVE MUSIC
Thanks to the vision of its metalhead manager Ben Smith, The Wheatsheaf has long been the cornerstone of Banbury’s alternative scene.
With its vibrant edge and fiercely independent spirit, it’s the perfect setting for a collaboration rooted in underground culture.

TEN OF CLUBS — FUELLED BY METAL
Fuelled by heavy music and bold design, TEN OF CLUBS is about more than fashion. A creative collective of metalheads and alt music fans, we champion grassroots talent and mental health in the music community.
This new partnership with The Wheatsheaf allows us to grow the alternative scene locally while bringing some of the best UK metal and alternative bands to Banbury.
Live music is at the heart of what we do, so working with The Wheatsheaf feels completely natural. Ever since we launched TOCstock, we've been asked for more regular events. Now we can deliver. Each monthly show will be a chance to celebrate with the community we’ve been building since 2021.

ALT MUSIC & COMMUNITY
More than just individual shows, TOC @ The Wheatsheaf is about community and building a permanent home for alternative culture in Banbury, where established acts and rising names share the same stage, and the crowd feels just as much a part of the night as the bands.
Banbury's alt music scene is about to get a whole lot louder. Month after month, expect unmissable lineups, fresh energy, and skull-crushing sounds. If you love metal and alternative music, this is for you.
Get your TOC on and we’ll see you at The Wheatsheaf!
