Collab with Photography Legend Tony Woolliscroft

We've had some great moments since starting Ten of Clubs, but this one tops the lot!
We're thrilled to tell you we've started working with world-renowned music photographer, and bloody nice bloke, Tony Woolliscroft.

A master of his craft, Tony spent 16 years touring with the Red Hot Chili Peppers as band photographer. And if that wasn't achievement enough, he also spent 20 years touring with Foo Fighters. The man is a legend!

His photographic career started when pictures he'd taken of New Model Army were used for the band's 'Stupid Questions' 12-inch gatefold sleeve. Later, Tony's work for publications Raw and Kerrang led to close friendships with both the Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters.

Tony's book Me and My Friends: Red Hot Chili Peppers not only showcased his photography - he captured many of the most iconic images of the band - but also shared previously unheard personal anecdotes that gave a genuine insight to the band. It's a must-read for fans.

In his introduction to the book, Chili's drummer Chad Smith notes, "We love Tony and his work so much that he is the only guy we give complete access to for an entire show. That's how much we trust him... His images makes you feel like you're there... He has captured the essence of our band on film".

As well as having work published in Rolling StoneQ magazine, The Sunday Times, and many, many more, Tony has continued to be the photographer of choice for artists including The 1975, Gorillaz, Robbie Williams, Blur, Bush, and Jimmy Eat World.

A passionate Liverpool FC supporter - he's proud to shoot the weekly magazine covers and match day program content - Tony's portraits have graced the covers of many official biographies, including for Sergio Aguero, Steven Gerrard, and Fabrice Muamba.

So now you can see why we were stunned and flattered when Tony contacted us about potentially collaborating. His photography is never short of incredible or effortlessly cool.

Tony explains, "I'm always on the lookout for cool new clothing brands to collaborate with, and Ten of Clubs caught my eye. It's really fun to swap ideas with guys who are willing to collaborate, and to see how we can push the brand. It pushes me too as a photographer to come up with new ideas and apply my skills in different ways."

We can't find the words to express just how proud we are to have Tony join the Ten of Clubs Collective.

Check out the awesome video and images Tony got for us of BMX ninja Brook Taylor repping ToC. We'll be sharing more of Tony's work in the coming weeks and months on Instagram and Facebook. Make sure to follow us so you don't miss a thing!
