Like the rest of our premium graphic t-shirts, each AKA Hellfire Tee is made from 100% soft combed cotton, giving you first-class comfort as well as top-notch design. Double bubble. The relaxed fit will flatter your sexy shape. You guys tell us our sizes are spot on.

Our exclusive collab with Banbury's long-established bar and music venue, AKA, brings together our taste for bold design with their passion for hosting the best live music. It’s a match made in alt rock heaven.

For this gusset-moistening masterwork, Rosie explored ideas with AKA’s trusty sound tech, accomplished drummer and dedicated metalhead, Dan. The centrepiece of the tee's design is a human skull with crossed drum sticks and flaming mohawk. You’ll find AKA hidden in the flames.

This AKA Hellfire Tee is sure to be the standout piece of your wardrobe. It's the perfect tee to express your edgy style and love for heavy music. Wear it loud! Get yours now.

TOC x AKA collab meeting

We kicked-off the design process by meeting with AKA's general manager, James, and stalwart pint-puller Karina, as well as sound tech Dan, to learn more about AKA, its staff, and patrons.

Big thanks to the AKA team for being so helpful and giving us loads of ideas. We've used what we learned to create a whole raft of sick, music-inspired designs that'll be dropping throughout 2025 and beyond.

To bring you the full story, we cornered GM James Dickens to vigorously probe him about AKA, our collaboration, and his thoughts on the magnificent AKA Hellfire Tee.

For stuffed badgers, Noel Fielding's love child and the best live music, read on!

Hello James. Please describe AKA for the uninitiated.

JAMES DICKENS Imagine Noel Fielding, Dave Grohl, and Elvis had a threesome and gave birth to a bar; AKA would be the result. It’s the kind of place where you’ll start the night sipping gin & tonic and end it hugging a taxidermized badger.

Very evocative! What’s AKA’s secret sauce?

Our uniqueness stems from a multitude of things, really. We have the best live music, first and foremost. We cover all genres, except perhaps skiffle.

Also, our decor really distinguishes us from other venues. A lot of our quirky furniture was made in-house or reworked in-house. From chandelier’s made from stuff found on a dark Banbury street corner, to seating made from an old log flume carriage designed to look like a seal, AKA really is an A to Z of cosy randomness.

AKA has an impressive musical pedigree. Tell us about it.

We've had amazing artists play here since we first opened in 2010: Jess Glynne, The 1975, The Hoosiers, High Fade, and many, many more. Last week we had Toby Lee perform here. That was a sick night. We had people here from all over. That’s the thing, people are more than willing to travel to hear great live music.

We feature a lot of up-and-coming bands for our AKA Originals nights. We only have original artists performing original music at AKA. If you're looking for a place to hear covers of ‘Come on Eileen’ or ‘Sweet Caroline’, it’s not here. Sorry to disappoint.

TOC x AKA collab meeting

Honestly, that’s no disappointment. Why did you want to collab with us?

We share a lot of common ground. We share the same taste in music and we’re both big on supporting up-and-coming artists. All of us here love the TEN OF CLUBS aesthetic, which probably also stems for us liking the same music.

AKA has an alternative, grungy, rock vibe, so we loved the idea of creating tees that reflect that vibe by feeling more like band tees. We didn’t want to just stick our logo on a cheap t-shirt. We always want to give our customers more. By working with you guys we get to offer something unique and high quality, which is what we’re all about.

ALSO KNOWN AS

We started by having a design meeting with you, Dan, and Karina. We enjoyed it. How about you?

We enjoyed it too. Working in a bar is all about being sociable, so spending time with creatives, such as yourselves, is something that feels very natural for us.

It was wild to be able to talk about ideas, and the things we like and don’t like, and then have you draw them into existence, especially for me as I can’t draw to save my life!

The new AKA Hellfire Tee was designed by Rosie based on her conversation with Dan. How did she do?

Rosie did great! This Hellfire Tee is wicked! It also sums up Dan and his interests really well: drums, metal, AKA.

We’re all super excited for this and our future tees with TEN OF CLUBS.

Ditto. We’ve got some really cool tees coming down the track. Nice one, James, thanks for chatting. Can you tell us what else you have coming up at AKA?

So many super cool events. I’m especially excited about a couple of big artists scheduled to perform here later this year. I can’t say more now, but you will not be disappointed.
